The ADMA annual membership meeting and draw for the Gene’s Chrysler Limited North American returns to the Westmark Hotel Gold Room, Wednesday, March 10th, at 7 p.m. The membership will vote on the classes and distances for the 2004–2005 race season, and dates for the 2005–2006 season, and will be electing a new board of directors.
A change in the bylaws has reduced the number of directors on the board from nine to five (in addition to the president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer). In order to give new people and board members whose terms are expiring a chance to serve on the board of directors, all five directors will be elected at this meeting, three to an abbreviated one-year term and two to a full two-year term.
In addition, an election for vice-president will be held. Anyone interested in having their name added to the ballot for the board of directors and vice-president election, or for more information, should contact association president Dave Partee or any member of the current board of directors.
Also to be voted on is a proposal to change the race procedures to increase the race entry fees from $1 per mile to $1.50, and the minimum trail fee from $30 to $40 (procedure B.2.b).
In order to vote at the meeting, new members must have been present at three meetings. This doesn’t apply to returning members from last year.
