Golden Days Parade

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 21st, to join ADMA and GCI in this years Golden Days Parade!!
We’ll need the following:
3 or 4 Straw bales (One to spread on the trailer bed, and the others that you can have back after the parade.)  Please contact Kathy Fitzgerald for delivery location. 385-7322.  Need today if possible, tomorrow afternoon at the latest.
Puppies!!  Kids holding puppies!!!  Need to know names, and ages of all kids under 18.  We already have some kids from GCI families, but no
musher kids yet.  Would like 3-4 more.
Two or three adult dogs to either ride on the trailer with a person to holding them, and a few (maybe in harness?) to walk beside the trailer on leash.  Persons who are riding MUST remain riding.  Persons who are walking MUST remain walking.  Parade rules do not allow us to go on and off the trailer once the parade starts.
People jobs: We’ll need people to walk the parade route passing out doggie biscuits (donated by PETCO), and flyers that will have the ADMA race schedule listed, and mushers hall rental information.
This is an open invitation to any and all past North American champions – please join us on the float.
If anyone still has their dog box on and would like to drive their dog truck behind the float let me know. We can only have one. This will be a good way to show the tourists how you transport your dogs.
