$15,000 on the North Pole Championships!

News flash: The North Pole Economic Development Corporation has guaranteed a whopping $15,000 purse on the North Pole Championships to be held Feb. 25th – 26th. ADMA greatly appreciates the City of North Pole’s commitment to the race and Mt McKinley Bank for signing on as title sponsor.

The Annamaet Challenge Series Race #4 is cancelled due to the official weather report of -47 with dense freezing fog. Lovely! Next up on the schedule is Challenge Series Race #5 to be held on Sunday, Feb. 5th. Keep those doggies warm and hope to see you then!

Race #2 cancelled

The official temperature in Fairbanks is -44, so the Annamaet Challenge Series Race #2 is cancelled. Race #3 is scheduled for next Sunday, Jan. 22nd. Let’s hope it warms up and we’ll see you then!

New Years Day race postponed.

Due to the frigid Fairbanks forecast and a couple of spots on the trail not quite ready for race speeds, we will postpone the Annamaet Challenge Series Race #1 to Jan. 8th. Here is the updated schedule for all 5 races:

Ran to the 9.7 trail looks real good shaping up nice. The worst part was the dips of the crane ponds. Might need some bales and snow and ice to fill in the first drop off. First crane pond dip coming home is also rough. Large dip in 5 mile [...]

Although work has been done on the trail, we don’t feel it is yet safe to hold a race. Annamaet Challenge Series Race #1 is postponed to Sunday, Jan. 1st. This affects races 1 – 4 and here is the revised schedule:
