ADMA trail closure due to rain and ice conditions

Due to extreme warm weather, rain, and ice, the Alaska Dog Mushers Association is temporarily closing the trailhead at the Jeff Studdert Race Grounds at the Mushers Hall to all traffic.

Meet the Champion today at the GCI store

From 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 22, meet ten-time Open North American Champion Egil Ellis and other mushers at the GCI Store, 510 Merhar Ave., Fairbanks (next to Chili’s).  Autograph signing, pet the lead dog, check out the equipment, door prize drawings, and more.

Start order for the $7,500 Alaska Dog Mushers Association 2010 Limited North American Championships, held at the Jeff Studdert Racegrounds in Fairbanks, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 12-14.

The competition starts at the Mushers Hall off Farmers Loop Road at 11:00 a.m. each day.
