News flash: The North Pole Economic Development Corporation has guaranteed a whopping $15,000 purse on the North Pole Championships to be held Feb. 25th – 26th. ADMA greatly appreciates the City of North Pole’s commitment to the race and Mt McKinley Bank for signing on as title sponsor. The 1st championship [...] [Updated to properly show the two-day totals. As originally posted, they dropped the hours.] Below is the start order for Saturday’s heat of ADMA’s 2011 North Pole The holding area and start/finish lines are located in the softball There is no cutoff temperature for championship races, so we’ll race Mother Nature Strikes Again! Due to high winds, blowing snow, loss of trail, and DOT travel warnings, the North Pole Championships are postponed to March 5th and 6th. Logistics for the race will be the same as the previous post, with the draw being held at the Elf’s Den on March 4th, starting at 6pm. Hope to see [...] The North Pole Championships Race will be held in within the city limits of North Pole this year. The holding area, start and finish line is located in the softball fields behind Star of the North Charter School just north of the Badger Road and Hurst Road intersection.
