I live in Anchorage & will be unable to attend the annual meeting. Please keep skijoring on you race schedule for the 2011 race season. For the 2011 LNAC distances I would like to see the 4-dog Normal: 4.5, 4.5, 5.9 used. Maybe shorter distances will get more people to participate.

Reguarding the upcoming 2010 LNAC skijor class I would like to see the 4-dog Normal: 4.5, 4.5, 5.9 used snow conditions allowing.

The traditional mileage when the Gold Run is held at the track is 5.9 miles for the 4-dog class. There is a 5.1 mile trail at Chena Lakes that will probably be used for the 2-dog skijorers and the 4-dog class. The 6-dog class would go 6.5 miles and the 10-dog class would go 12 miles.
