Prospector Outfitters to sponsor Challenge Series Race #5

Fairbanks, Alaska—The ADMA Challenge Series Race #5, Sunday, February 2, is sponsored by Prospector Outfitters. The top finishers in each class will be awarded gift certificates for merchandise at Prospector Outfitters on South Cushman Street in Fairbanks.

Each of the sled classes, except the 10-dog class which was added as a special event class, will be competing for certificates worth 40% of the purse for first place, 30% for second place, 20% for third, and 10% for fourth. The purse for 4-dog is $100, 6-dog is $200, 8-dog is $300, and Open is $400.

In each skijoring division (1, 2 and 3 dog), the first place finisher will get a $20 certificate, and the second place finisher will receive a $13 certificate.

The entry fees for each class, based on distance and purse, are:

Skijoring: $7
4-dog: $7
6-dog: $10
8-dog: $15
10-dog: $12 (special event class, no purse)
Open: $20

Sign up and draw for the final Challenge Series race of the season is at the Mushers Hall on Farmers Loop Road, on Wednesday, January 29, 7 p.m.
