The first ADMA championship race was the Gold Run ! Mushers from all over the USA and Canada came to compete in this event.
Congratulations to all the competitors and their wonderful dogs.
The first day of the race was pretty warm with very nice sunshine!
Some teams scratched the second day due to the warm weather.
The purse for this race was $4500.00, which included a donation of $1000.00 from Linda Leonard and Harvey Drake (winner of this year's snow machine raffle).
The next championship race will be NORTH POLE WINTER CARNIVAL March 1 & 2 at the Chena Lakes recreational area. Races start at noon.
The Following ADMA championship race will be the Limited North American Championship starting March 7th at noon at the ADMA race track.
