On three inches of fresh powder, a large field of 28 skijorers and 46 dogs raced at Creamer's Field on Saturday December 5th. The powder challenged the skijorers, but no complaints were heard. The 2 dog 3 mile class was the largest with 19 teams in the field. Cindy Salmon (Benny, Jets) edged second place Stephanie Pike (Shadow, Tipper) by 11 seconds with a time of 13:46. Six teams participated in the one dog, 3 mile class. Jeremy Crooks and Luna won with a time of 17:13. Jason Hodges took second place and Sarah Elzey (Shadow) placed third. In the one dog 1.5 mile class, Christie Matson (Dusty) placed first with a time of 12:11.
