2009 International Sled Dog Symposium
Pioneer Park Civic Center, Fairbanks • October 9-11, 2009
Come enjoy a weekend of informative and entertaining sessions for every kind of musher and working-dog owner, plus our trade fair (admission is free and open to the general public), and annual fundraising auction.
Our exciting program includes sled dog physiologist Dr. Mike Davis of Oklahoma State University speaking about his latest findings on stomach ulcers in distance dogs and sharing his findings on super-conditioning in sled dogs. Keynote speakers Harris and Ginger Dunlap are bringing their internationally acclaimed presentation on selecting and breeding the right dog for you. There will also be sessions about mid-distance strategies, foot care, sled maintenance and repair, mushing history, and much more.
The symposium is a great opportunity to get the expert advice you’ve been looking for. For all the complete details about this fun and informative upcoming event, click on the program guide below.
See you at the symposium!
It’s time again for the annual Alaska Dog Mushers Association International Sled Dog Symposium. You may have been vendors at past trade fairs, or you may be interested in acquiring space for the first time. We welcome each and every one of you.
Below is a link to the trade fair form, along with some miscellaneous information. Please return the form completely filled out, with your payment, to reserve your space. You can email it back to me, fax it, or send it via snail mail, to my PO Box. A discount applies to reservations received and paid for by September 15th. The current plan is to place vendors in the spaces they were in previously, unless you request otherwise. If you prefer to be near a particular vendor, please make a note of that on the form, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. However, location preference will go to returning vendors first.
If you have any questions, or suggestions, please give me a call, or send an email.
